About the role
- Support our growing Engineering and Customer operations teams with aggressive hiring goals in Bangalore.
- Execute core HR responsibilities across the employee lifecycle and partner closely with managers, HRBPs, and employees to promote a positive, compliant, and high‑performing workplace.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support hiring needs.
- Provide visibility into hiring progress, challenges, and risks, ensuring the business and executive leaders remain informed.
- Coordinate onsite hiring events including panel scheduling, information sessions, and additional event logistics.
- Track hiring metrics, fall out rate, and TA dashboards in partnership with the TA COE.
- Improve and scale hiring processes to support rapid organizational growth.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Address basic employee relations concerns and escalate complex cases as needed.
- Assist in performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and documentation.
- Support in coordination onsite learning, development programs, and capability-building workshops.
- Partner with managers and HRBPs on HR best practices and people-related issues.
- Assist in updating HR policies in line with local laws and company requirements.
- Foster a strong sense of belonging and connection to Fortive values.
- Actively sense colleague sentiment and team dynamics to identify engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate cultural events, team-building activities, and site programs that bring teams together.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a multinational, matrixed, or multientity environment.
- Strong experience in employee engagement, onboarding, or site HR roles.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple stakeholders and influence without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and lead in ambiguous situations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Passion for building culture, community, and great colleague experiences.
- MBA / Master’s in Human Resources
- Experience working in HR in India labor market; exposure to global or regional HR models preferred.
- Experience working within broader APAC region and with night/alternative shifts preferred.
