About the role

  • Administer the month-end and quarter-end close in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, bank reconciliation, and intercompany transactions
  • Liaise with the payroll team regarding payroll processing
  • Manage relationships with local accounting firms for accurate financial reporting
  • Recommend and implement improvements to automate close processes
  • Complete VAT and wage tax returns
  • Generate analyses of significant accounts and perform ad hoc financial analysis

Requirements

  • Studying toward accounting qualification, part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or local equivalent
  • At least some years of work experience in a finance team in a similar role
  • Proven analytical skills and solid business experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills
  • Good working knowledge of financial applications and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Peoplesoft, Concur, or Floqast is a plus
