Lead strategic sourcing, issue and evaluate RFQs, manage commercial issues, lead negotiations and be responsible for overall supplier management.
Manage electrical purchasing components for large energy storage systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders including executive-level regional business leads.
Design, conduct and synthesize supplier, industry and market research for assigned commodities to develop sourcing strategies.
Provide analysis of requirements, spend, and savings to ensure the most cost-effective options.
Identify and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities based on a solid understanding of cost drivers and contracts.
Develop and manage suppliers according to business needs and maintain day-to-day supplier relationships; act as the lead point of contact for commercial discussion.
Issue RFXs for sourcing assigned commodities, review raised purchase requests and support/lead a strategic sourcing approval process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or related area.
4+ years experience of negotiating contracts and/or relationship management.
2+ years of leading successful supply chain teams.

Experience with ERP and procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle).
