About the role

  • Draft clear and concise user stories that include detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in the continuous grooming of the product backlog, ensuring tasks are estimated, prioritized, and "ready" for development.
  • Attend daily stand-ups to clarify requirements for the developers and help remove immediate blockers.
  • Perform initial "sanity checks" on completed features to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria before the final review.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that the business requirements have been met and existing functionality continues to operate as expected (i.e., regression testing).
  • Interview stakeholders and users to document their needs and pain points.
  • Maintain product documentation, including feature lists, and user guides.
  • Help prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding sprint goals and release timelines.
  • Monitor basic product metrics and report out findings.
  • Actively participate in Retrospectives and Sprint Planning to improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a point of contact between the business and the technical team, ensuring clear communication.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure wireframes and mockups align with the user stories you have written.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a role within a software development environment.
  • The ability to analyze complex systems and processes to identify and implement solutions that intuitively add value and optimize efficiencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—the ability to explain "the why" behind a task.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; you are the person who notices when a requirement is missing or a deadline is slipping.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and a willingness to learn the architecture of the product.
  • Basic understanding of Agile principles - Preferred
