About the role
- Lead strategic sourcing and issue/evaluate RFQs
- Manage commercial issues and lead negotiations
- Build solid relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Develop commodity strategies and perform detailed spend analysis
- Optimize the supply base and drive improvements to processes and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or related area
- 2+ years' experience of negotiating contracts and/or relationship management
- Even better, you may have...
- 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain or related area
- Experience working with electrical components, including semiconductors and electrical distribution
- Experience with ERP and procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle)
