About the role
- Structure and analyze complex strategic questions related to market dynamics, competitive threats, and growth opportunities to shape the Enthusiast Vehicle strategy.
- Manage key strategic initiatives within the General Management (GM) pillar & fill the pipeline with future high-impact strategic projects
- Actively Identify, scope and/or lead multiple projects opportunities for structural cost reduction by benchmarking competitor performance and analyzing internal operational and financial data.
- Support development of milestones, and project timings and frameworks
- Apply consumer insights, competitive intelligence, regulatory and market trends to see opportunities to improve existing or create new products and services within Enthusiast line up
- Help develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), targets, and guardrails for Enthusiast Vehicles to track progress and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Serve as a key partner to the Truck, Utility, and Enthusiast general management teams and ensure alignment between their strategies and the overarching Ford Blue strategy.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations that communicate data-driven strategic recommendations and performance updates to leadership. (Business Performance Reviews)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, marketing, product planning, or similar
- Strong business acumen and executive-ready communication skills
- Proven ability to structure complex problems, perform quantitative analysis, and generate data-driven insights using a hypothesis-led approach
- Solid project management fundamentals, including milestone and workplan development
- MBA preferred
- A resilient self-starter, skilled at creating structure and clarity from ambiguity.
- Experienced navigating large, matrixed organizations; able to build trust and drive decisions through logical reasoning and compelling storytelling
- Highly analytical, with experience synthesizing market data and building scenario-based financial models (clear assumptions/sensitivities)
- Organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively
- Proactive in identifying roadblocks and escalating appropriately
- Automotive industry and/or Product Management experience
