About the role
- Technical lead for wireless, connectivity, Infotainment, and cloud systems
- Drive integration efforts across vehicle systems ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between hardware, software, and cloud components
- Lead vehicle health monitoring and data collection strategies and build dashboards for insights and analytics
- Support development and integration activities for digital key and vehicle access systems
- Define and implement strategies for optimizing the performance and efficiency of platform architectures, balancing competing requirements and constraints
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to automotive platform architecture, including safety and cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product management, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of platform architecture initiatives with broader company objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded systems architecture, with a focus on automotive or related industry
- Expert in connected software-defined systems
- Deep technical expertise in system design principles, including hardware/software integration, automotive communication protocols, and real-time operating systems
- Experience of embedded Linux, Android, RTOS and related DevOps systems (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills both up and down the organization
- Demonstrated systemic thinking, logic, and reasoning skills to identify opportunities and alternative solutions
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to move within the organization to complete work and balance tradeoffs
