About the role
- Be part of an R&D group responsible for end-to-end feature development, from research and design to production
- Dive deep into the Chromium code base, research and define solutions for real-world enterprise problems
- Help improve customer security and productivity through Island solutions
- Work closely with product, web developers, security, and field engineers to push forward Island solutions
- React and interact with real customers and real enterprise challenges
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on software development experience
- Expertise in C/C++ and preferably modern C++ standards
- Extensive experience in developing large-scale, multi-platform desktop and mobile systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android)
- Proven experience building large-scale, distributed systems in the cloud, preferably using AWS and/or OCI
- Familiarity with the Chromium codebase and/or CEF (advantageous but not required)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and topologies
- Hands-on development experience with JavaScript and WebAssembly and/or Chromium extension development
- Experience writing backend API in Golang using serverless frameworks
