About the role

  • Be part of an R&D group responsible for end-to-end feature development, from research and design to production
  • Dive deep into the Chromium code base, research and define solutions for real-world enterprise problems
  • Help improve customer security and productivity through Island solutions
  • Work closely with product, web developers, security, and field engineers to push forward Island solutions
  • React and interact with real customers and real enterprise challenges

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on software development experience
  • Expertise in C/C++ and preferably modern C++ standards
  • Extensive experience in developing large-scale, multi-platform desktop and mobile systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android)
  • Proven experience building large-scale, distributed systems in the cloud, preferably using AWS and/or OCI
  • Familiarity with the Chromium codebase and/or CEF (advantageous but not required)
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and topologies
  • Hands-on development experience with JavaScript and WebAssembly and/or Chromium extension development
  • Experience writing backend API in Golang using serverless frameworks
