About the role

  • Drive internal functional issue resolution (Exterior commodities, BIW, Ext. Orn., Fascias, lightning)
  • Escalate issues when needed.
  • Drive cross-functional issue resolution (program, finance, quality, attribute, manufacturing, STA, suppliers, etc.)
  • Lead resolution of PD launch issues via JIRAs, CRs, CMFs, FCPA, Alerts, & other launch performance metrics for on time delivery of launch.
  • Lead NMPDC whiteboard issues resolution and PCN generation and approval during DCV builds.
  • Manage total cost, content, and other attributes & metrics within the VHE zone.
  • Support functional sign-off and compatibility reviews to deliver all Program Milestones on-time with completed metrics.
  • Identify opportunity areas for optimization and part reduction.
  • Active on-site Exterior SPOC for program, attributes, VO, and NML teams through launch phases from LR through OKTB.
  • Ensure alignment of engineering resources to budget for all phases of the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in Exterior System Integration
  • 2+ years of experience with Design & Release or Design Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience using GPDS processes and Ford Systems
  • 1+ years of experience with Cost Setting Process and Functional Led Cost/Appearance Delivery Process
  • Demonstrated Production Launch Experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Program Management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (open, clear, and inclusive).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs.
  • Demonstrated the ability to build strong effective relationships with cross functional teams (Program, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering).
