About the role
- Design and execute comprehensive UAT plans.
- Coordinate with end-users to test the software in simulated environments, ensuring it meets all functional requirements before hitting the manufacturing engineering toolkit.
- Lead demonstrations of new features and prototypes to key stakeholders to validate concepts, gather immediate feedback, and ensure the product is moving in the right direction.
- Provide ongoing technical and transformation support of Siemens PLM tools to Ford’s global manufacturing implementation teams.
- Deliver training sessions to engineers and plant personnel, and monitor usage metrics to drive active adoption of the new technology.
- Bring global teams together to align common training material, best practices, creation of knowledge bases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (automotive, aerospace, or heavy industry preferred).
- Must be strong in any of 2 software’s like Siemens tool – Easyplan, process simulate, NX, VisVSA, Plant Sim, Vis-mockup
- Must be strong in any of 2 activities like BOM & BOP management, line balancing, process simulations, Dimensional Variation Analysis, Locator Drawing / Measurement point creation, Line designer & Change management
- Must have experience in any one of the shops - Final, Body, Paint, Stamping, Powertrain & Battery.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong Project Management skills and results-oriented mindset.
- Advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Experience in new software validation and deployment (preferred).
- Train the trainer (preferred).
- Knowledge in the following Ford software systems: FEDE, WERS, GSPAS/APT (preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira) (preferred).
