Director of Procurement

Accountant

• Perform and oversee full month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations (bank, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, etc.)
• Ensure accurate and timely financial close in line with company policies and local accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor and customer reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash activity
• Maintain fixed asset (PPE) records, including capitalization, disposals, and depreciation
• Support inventory accounting in collaboration with the US corporate accounting team
• Assist with inventory reconciliations, cost tracking, and variance analysis
• Support intercompany transactions and eliminations related to inventory
• Assist with monthly and quarterly VAT filings
• Support local income tax return processes and provide documentation to external advisors
• Support statutory financial reporting and filings for Poland and the Netherlands
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor requests
• Assist in establishing and maintaining internal controls suitable for a growing organization
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and local regulatory requirements
