Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of hands-on experience operating production infrastructure on a major cloud, including provisioning, deploying, and debugging real systems under load.
Fluency with infrastructure-as-code and a track record of managing infra declaratively rather than by hand.
Strong observability instincts: you've built the metrics, traces, logs, and alerting that let a team catch and resolve incidents quickly.
Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and the build/deploy systems a whole engineering org depends on.
Comfort going deep on databases (especially relational/Postgres): performance, scaling, and safe schema/operational changes.
A bias toward leverage: you make *other* engineers faster, not just yourself.
Comfort juggling many competing priorities at one time.
Comfort operating in ambiguity at an early-stage company: you're at home taking a function that's been handled on the side and making it your own, on a small team that moves fast.
