About the role

  • Lead key components of the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Own complex account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting in alignment with ASC 606
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and actionable
  • Identify and implement improvements to close timelines, workflows, and reporting accuracy

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment
  • strong foundation in GAAP, with experience applying ASC 606 principles
  • highly proficient in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • detail-oriented but can zoom out to identify patterns and improvements
  • must be legally authorized to work in the US
