About the role

  • Function as the primary commercial liaison between Flutter and supplier.
  • Develop and execute a supplier strategy aligned with our cloud roadmap and business objectives.
  • Lead business reviews with suppliers and stakeholders to review performance, risk management, future opportunities, and/or challenges and oversee implementation of actions following these.
  • Influence supplier roadmaps and offerings through strategic engagement.
  • Continually look for performance and process enhancements both internally and with suppliers - being responsible for the execution of such improvements.
  • Own and manage Supplier contracts and commercial performance.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, Investments, volume commitments, and other value add components.
  • Track and optimise committed spend, leveraging partnerships.
  • Monitor contract renewals, amendments, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Work with FinOps Teams, implement and oversee supplier cost governance frameworks and reporting tools.
  • Drive Flutter's Supplier Relationship and Performance Management Program across suppliers to manage both performance and risk effectively.
  • Collaborate with Legal, InfoSec, and Compliance teams to monitor obligations and risks.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for all strategic supplier business-related inquiries.
  • Function as a “trusted advisor” to Senior Flutter technology leaders in terms of supplier performance and spend management.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into value opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing strategic technology suppliers
  • Strong knowledge of billing models and governance frameworks
  • Solid understanding of technical infrastructure across SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive reporting
  • The ability to manage across all levels on a strategic and operational basis in a large complex organisation
  • Strong experience assessing risk and concisely explaining complex issues to key business owners
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly analyze, distil and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience of strategic vendor management across global technology suppliers
  • Experience working within a multinational corporation, managing global contracts.
