• Partner with senior stakeholders across Flutter Technology on high-impact strategic initiatives

Strategy Partner – Technology Strategy

Auditor

• Complete business audit engagements within the regional audit plan
• Perform audit fieldwork on business audits and advisory engagements
• Take ownership of specific audit areas and workstreams while supporting team objectives
• Plan and deliver internal audit engagements to a high standard
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness
• Conduct root cause analysis and consolidate findings into systemic issues
• Build positive relationships with internal partners

Senior Auditor

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Play a lead role in the Balance Sheet alignment project for the Flutter Client Funds team
• Build out option papers for presentation to other Finance teams about proposed future accounting treatments
• Take ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation process, including cash-in-transit and intercompany balances
• Ensure all process documentation is current, accurate, and reflects actual business practices through regular reviews and updates
• Maintain strong internal controls over balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies, GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Review and sign off on daily reconciliations and key controls as required
• Supervise the monthly submission of regulatory returns
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Client Funds, Finance, and external payment processors
• Manage relationships across geographical locations (Dublin, London, Isle of Man, Leeds)
• Communicate material financial exceptions and liabilities to the Finance Manager – Client Funds
• Identify and highlight potential risks within the financial control framework

Financial Accountant – Client Funds

• Assist with the production of month end numbers for Flutter Functions & UKI, within Group Reporting deadlines
• Operate a robust cost accruals process to ensure that costs are correctly accrued within the time constraints of a fast-close environment
• Review all significant variances for areas of responsibility flagging key variances in advance of close
• Standardise, and automate where possible, month end tasks to improve month end timelines
• Continuously review processes to find efficiencies in ways of working and opportunities to implement AI initiatives
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations within set deadlines
• Proactively engage with assigned budget owners to improve processes and procedures around monthly accruals
• Continuously review processes and procedures in line with changes in systems and the requirements of the business
• Ensure processes and procedures are documented and robust
• Proactively engage in cross training initiatives
• Other tasks that may be assigned as appropriate
• Work collaboratively with related finance teams to achieve wider finance/organisational goals and efficiencies
• Pursue opportunities to reduce the monthly close process duration without impacting the quality of the information produced
• Ensure processes and procedures within area of responsibility are documented and robust
• Work with all teams within the GFC as part of accounts production / close process to ensure accurate and timely accounting information is produced in accordance with their requirements
• Support Commercial Finance in the budget and forecasting process to meet Group timelines
• Proactively engage with internal and external audits when required
• Deliver timely and accurate financial information to the Group reporting team

Financial Accountant

• Manage the review and approval of betting and gaming tax returns across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Use automated data processes while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and robust internal controls.
• Develop a deep understanding of gaming products’ mechanics, promotional and generosity structures, and revenue flows to inform accurate tax treatment.
• Monitor global indirect tax legislative and regulatory changes and communicate impacts proactively.
• Identify, assess, and manage emerging tax risks such as regulatory developments, law changes, and risks related to products.
• Contribute to building, improving, and operating the Gaming Tax control framework.
• Manage projects that provide strategic tax input on new product launches, market entries, and commercial initiatives.
• Lead responses to queries or audits from tax authorities in various jurisdictions.

Indirect Tax Manager

Procurement

• Establish strong relationships with Senior level internal Technology stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities and translate that across key Technology supplier partners and spend categories.
• Develop global category sourcing strategies and spend management plans to deliver against business objectives for Technology.
• Drive Flutters SRPM Minimum Standards programme across our global Technology supplier base to manage both Performance and Risk effectively.
• Drive value and synergy savings via managing negotiations on a global basis.
• Continually look for performance and process enhancements both internally in procurement and with our suppliers.
• Lead business reviews with top Tier global IT suppliers and stakeholders to review vendor performance, risk management, future opportunities, and/or challenges and oversee implementation of actions following these.
• Act as a "trusted advisor" to Senior Flutter IT leaders in terms of supplier performance and spend management.
• Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and bench-marking analysis from industry sources.
• Provide IT leadership with key category insights and trends using industry reports such as those developed by Gartner.
• Identify sourcing opportunities by leveraging spend analysis and engaging with stakeholders to consolidate requirements over categories, suppliers and geographies.
• Manage the fundamentals of Flutters Global sourcing and supplier engagement activities including RFx, spend analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, and supplier consolidation.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement strategies and maintaining procurement ethics and governance in accordance with Flutter's global policies.
