About the role

  • Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including posting journal entries, processing accruals, and performing account reconciliations.
  • Oversee and ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Conduct general ledger account analysis and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute SOX controls and process documentation.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to support internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate closely with other finance functions to streamline and improve accounting processes.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Possess CPA certification or hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Ideally 2 years of relevant accounting experience in General Ledger/Record to Report.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to process changes and business needs.
