About the role
- Promote a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations
- Develop and manage customer relationship with buyers and key decision makers; contribute to customer strategy ensuring local Flowers business objectives are achieved
- Partner with BUs and Marketing to understand trends and consumer preferences and deploy account strategy to maximize potential
- Develop a Customer Sales Plan that delivers Flowers sales and margin objectives within the Trade Promotion Management funding structure
- Partner with Regional VPs from DSD sales and Market VPs to ensure alignment and plan for excellent execution by Flowers distributor partners
- Achieve/exceed all established key sales measures and targets
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes – Oxley, Safety, etc.)
Requirements
- A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience working in CPG sales
- Proven success in leading a sales organization
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time; overnight travel as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience required
