About the role

  • Responsible for ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products.
  • Come to work with a neat, professional appearance (sometimes in a uniform).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Check delivery vehicle daily, keeping accurate records, quickly reporting maintenance issues.
  • Fill out daily driver’s logs, time logs, and hours of service.
  • Flexibility to work varying workdays and early morning start times.
  • Expected to increase sales by expanding shelf space and creatively displaying in-store promotions.
  • Maximize product shelf life by properly rotating products.
  • Use data and marketing plans to build relationships and drive customer growth through effective communication, planning, ordering, and execution.
  • Work together with customers to increase sales and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to service accounts during customer’s designated service windows.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have had a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record.
  • Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines.
  • Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV.
  • Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4-week company paid training).
  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
