Research and identify target companies aligned with Flourish’s strategic priorities across assigned geography, therapeutic area, or client segment.
Generate and manage a pipeline of high potential prospects.
Research and validate opportunities to ensure fit and readiness for handoff to Business Development.
Evaluate territory trends, growth and analysis.
Proactively engage with prospective and current clients through outreach (email and calls) campaigns, introductions, and scheduled meetings (virtual and in-person).
Coordinate and facilitate introductory discussions, CDA process, capability briefings, and needs assessments in collaboration with Field-Based Business Development.
Support industry conferences.
Identify key client contacts and leadership connections (internal/external).
Work in close coordination with Business Development Directors and Executive Directors to transfer validated opportunities and ensure seamless handoff.
Provide background, insights, and materials to support opportunity conversion.
Maintain ongoing communication with Business Development team members to ensure alignment on client strategy, progress, and follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system, including lead status, engagement history, and relevant contact information.
Track territory activities, CDAs, and shared documents to ensure transparency across business development and relevant functional groups.
Participate in regular pipeline reviews and commercial team meetings to update on progress and share insights.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Proposals, and Operations as needed to support client engagement efforts.
Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Business Development field-based experience required within the CRO or site network sector.
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the net new business sector with proven success metrics
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in account development, business development, or inside sales, preferably within clinical research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or other Life Sciences sectors.
Familiarity with clinical trial operations, therapeutic areas, and industry sponsor dynamics.
Must be fluent in English.
