About the role
- A Senior Treasury Management Sales & Payments Advisor focuses on new business generation for prospects and existing clients
- Acts as primary TM Advisor on opportunities to help clients optimize working capital management
- Collaboration with the team which includes Relationship management, Client Service, Product Leadership and Implementation
- Maintain professional level (c Suite) calling efforts to develop new and existing client relationships
- Generate proposals, respond to RFP’s, and coordinate the implementation of new clients and services
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
- Complete all required compliance training
- Conduct relationship reviews, service clients, and increase product cross-sell opportunities
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) or equivalent work experience
- 10+ Years in a treasury sales role
- Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP) as awarded by the Association for Financial Professionals is strongly preferred.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of treasury management products and services
- Expert understanding of business cash flows, accounting processes and financial optimization
- Excellent understanding of both business and banking regulations such as UCC, Reg CC, Reg E and regulatory guidance/oversight
- Expert sales/negotiation aptitude and the ability to tactfully communicate at a senior executive level
- Ability to prepare, present and direct client proposals
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve a service challenge or develop a solution
