About the role

  • Nurture and follow up on warm leads (no cold calls)
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Manage sales opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Identify, qualify, and close prospects; overcome objections through consultative approach.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales KPI’s (key performance indicators) and monthly quota.
  • Track and manage opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM following standard Five9 internal sales process.
  • Articulate company value proposition.
  • Be the subject matter expert on all services and products offered by Five9.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in direct sales - preferably in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills via phone, email and web-conference.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales process and closing business over the phone.
  • Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Industry experience is a huge plus, but not required.
  • College degree (BA/BS) is required.
