About the role
- Nurture and follow up on warm leads (no cold calls)
- Build and manage a sales pipeline.
- Manage sales opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle.
- Identify, qualify, and close prospects; overcome objections through consultative approach.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales KPI’s (key performance indicators) and monthly quota.
- Track and manage opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM following standard Five9 internal sales process.
- Articulate company value proposition.
- Be the subject matter expert on all services and products offered by Five9.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in direct sales - preferably in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
- Excellent sales and presentation skills via phone, email and web-conference.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales process and closing business over the phone.
- Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and non-technical audience.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Industry experience is a huge plus, but not required.
- College degree (BA/BS) is required.
