Human Resources

• Work closely with the regional and district management team, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of talent and employee related issues
• Work with HR leaders to drive key HR related processes throughout the field
• Maintain “best in class” HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent administration
• Ensure strong levels of employee engagement to minimize employee turnover
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team organization to ensure top candidacy of talent
• Partner with Talent Development team to identify future training opportunities
• Help identify process improvements to gain efficiencies and accuracy
• Act as a cultural role model and drive accountability for exhibiting behaviors aligned to our core values
• Partner with field management to ensure selection, on-boarding and training of new associates integrate effectively into the organization
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues as well as conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
• Implement strategies to improve overall morale and engagement for the associates
• Ensure implementation and monitor compliance of existing company policies and programs such as postings, orientation, retention, exit interviews, and revisions to handbooks/manuals and orientation materials. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as all Company policies and procedures.
• Provide day to day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
• Provide Human Resources Policy guidance and interpretation

Regional HR Manager

Technical Writer

• Work closely with the internal team to understand the project and Documentation requirements.
• Create high-quality technical documents that adhere to the quality standards of the organization and meet the needs of the target audience.
• Coordinate with the developers and designers to check the product samples.
• Write easily understandable instruction manuals, developer guides, and online help.
• Help end-users understand the product and use it efficiently by creating tutorials.
• Analyze existing content, reuse, and make changes as required.
• Create and maintain technical design specifications, information architecture, and test scripts.

Manager

• Execute programs to aid in the reduction of inventory and controllable losses to achieve goals for assigned market.
• Implement programs to aid in the prevention, detection, and resolution of, internal and external theft.
• Cultivate and maintain strong collaborative relationships, building trust through fairness, honesty and openness.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Business Partners on AP training and educational coaching for store leadership, store associates, and distribution center personnel (if applicable).
• Conduct and document Comprehensive AP Operational Assessments in stores and distribution centers (if applicable).
• Manage in conjunction with RD/DM/Store Management team the All Store and Target Program(s).

Regional Asset Protection Manager

• Build a Culture of Working Back from the Customer
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the application of the Five Below service model
• Lead execution of and follow up on all company merchandising and operational standards
• Challenge and equip store managers to creatively anticipate the needs of the customer
• Attract, lead and develop teams that are ambassadors of Five Below’s culture
• Regularly visit stores to learn from and recognize leaders
• Partner with Store Managers and Human Resources for employee coaching/counseling
• Drive district to deliver sustained business performance and productivity
• Analyze daily, weekly, monthly business results and store visits
• Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity of work
