About the role
- Track, organize, and maintain a comprehensive and accurate database of current and prospective banks and transactions, ensuring all records are up to date and easily accessible
- Keep track of data related to current and prospective deals, coordinating closely with Fitch’s finance team to ensure proper and timely invoicing
- Prepare summaries related to business growth, revenue growth, and prospective deals for senior management
- Coordinate with Fitch’s finance team to process associated billing and ensure proper revenue management
- Manage and organize data within MS Excel and other tools/dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist in creating and maintaining templates for recurring reports to senior management
- Research and identify new business opportunities in the North American Banks sector
- Monitor competitor rating actions, M&A activity, and debt issuance activity
- Prepare commercial agreement documents, proactively monitor deal status and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to move opportunities forward
- Schedule and attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and maintaining data in internal systems at the direction of senior BRMs
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency of data and revenue management.
Requirements
- A relevant university degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, or data analytics
- Excellent Excel/data analytic skills (lookups, index, pivot tables, macros, formulas, shortcuts, etc.)
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are an advantage
- Aptitude to learn new data systems and incorporate them into research.
