About the role
- Generate new mandates, initially with a focus on Saudi and the Middle East.
- Support business growth across the broader EMEA region.
- Analyze the market to identify new prospects and proactively interact with new issuers and other internal and external stakeholders in all stages of the onboarding process.
- Develop persuasive pitchbooks and business development materials as well as generate new ideas for marketing to support outreach efforts.
- Organize and conduct client and other external meetings.
- Participate in and sometimes lead broader EMEA FI team projects.
- Represent Fitch at industry events and conferences.
- Build relationships and expand your network of capital markets professionals.
- Use the Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce) to record outreach activity, manage opportunities, create agreements and manage renewals.
- Be organized, detail-oriented, punctual with tasks, enthusiastic, and proactive with a high level of initiative and an ability to conduct a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Requirements
- Arabic speaker is a must, excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- A curious mindset, good work ethic and great attention to detail.
- An ability to build business relationships and consistently grow your network of contacts.
- Be a keen team player, but also with an ability to work independently.
- Strong sales background in the financial sector.
- Strong technical command of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
