About the role
- Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of companies in the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sectors;
- Develop and maintaining comprehensive financial models;
- Engage with industry management teams to gain insights and enhance analysis;
- Present analysis of companies to internal credit rating committees and participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates, as well as other related credit groups;
- Involvement in communicating rating rationale to external audiences (primarily institutional investors, sell-side analysts and media) in meetings, conference calls, press releases and written research reports;
- Contribute to the writing of timely and effective research on topical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree a plus for the Associate Director title
- CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred
- 4+ years relevant experience depending on the title, some coverage or knowledge of the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sector a plus
- Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience a plus
- Expertise in Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change and work in a team-oriented environment
