About the role

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the Fisher & Paykel and DCS premium appliances for the assigned accounts
  • Will work independently as a member of the Canadian Sales team and establish strong partnership with internal stakeholders (Sales Support, Marketing, Product Management and Finance)
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with Fisher & Paykel dealers
  • Plans how to establish and maintain major account relationships and achieve sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products for the assigned territory
  • Establishes and builds strong client relationships, regularly calling on, selling to, and training Company dealers
  • Delivers marketing and communication support to the key accounts
  • Participates with sales management team to develop the strategic business plan
  • Monitors competitor activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated
  • Expand and strengthen our retail distribution and management of local dealer incentives
  • Drive to achieve Company strategic objectives through delivering budgeted revenue and margin targets
  • Additional administrative responsibilities include timely submission of spiffs, expenses, mileage claims and dealer claims

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years previous sales experience
  • University degree or directly transferrable industry experience
  • Background in design is highly desirable
  • Ability to work weekends or evening events as needed
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Comprehensive brand strategy and marketing knowledge
  • Comprehensive Architect/Design knowledge
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong Customer focus
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Valid Driver License and full-time access to vehicle
