About the role
- Define and evolve the global payouts product strategy aligned with the modular, multi-party commerce vision for Fiserv for Platforms.
- Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence framework to monitor payout market trends, emerging corridors, and regulatory changes.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partnerships, including foreign exchange (FX) providers and payout networks, to expand capabilities and geographic coverage.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Risk teams to shape and execute roadmap priorities for payout orchestration, FX rate sourcing, and seller onboarding.
- Influence the design and delivery of payout flows, including FX sourcing, seller onboarding, and know-your-customer/know-your-business (KYC/KYB) and anti-money laundering (AML) workflows, and support integration into internal systems.
- Partner with Risk and AML teams to embed fraud scoring, account validation, and compliance controls across payout corridors, including money transmitter licensing (MTL), float management, and tax-related services.
- Act as a strategic interface across internal stakeholders (Product, Sales, Legal, Finance) and external clients and partners, representing Fiserv in key client engagements, partner evaluations, and relevant industry forums.
- Build, lead, and develop a small team of product managers and analysts as the payouts function scales, providing clear goals, coaching, and performance feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product strategy, payments, or financial technology in complex, regulated environments, including global payouts or cross-border commerce.
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams of product managers or analysts, including setting priorities and coaching for performance.
- Demonstrated experience with FX markets, payout rails (such as ACH, real-time payments (RTP), Visa/Mastercard push payments, or digital wallets), and compliance frameworks including KYC/KYB and AML.
- Experience working with platform business models such as marketplaces, gig economy platforms, or software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms and driving adoption of new capabilities.
- Proven ability to synthesize market intelligence, regulatory developments, and client needs into clear product roadmaps and business cases.
- Advanced communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with a track record of influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
