Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
Architect and manage AWS networking components (VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN).
Implement network security best practices, including security groups, NACLs, and AWS Firewall Manager.
Ensure network connectivity across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
Automate deployments and operational tasks using CI/CD pipelines.
Configure monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party tools.
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

5+ years in AWS engineering roles, with at least 3 years focused on networking in an enterprise environment.
3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
3+ years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty preferred.
Familiarity with IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA).
