About the role
- Oversee quarterly and annual financial statements and partner capital statements prepared by fund administrators
- Review valuation adjustments and support the Investment Team with quarterly portfolio reporting
- Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors during annual audit and tax cycles
- Support investor reporting and respond to LP due diligence questionnaires
- Oversee third-party KYC/AML compliance provider to ensure timely onboarding and monitoring
- Assist with capital calls, distributions, and other fund operations
- Maintain accurate records, cap tables, and documentation across funds
- Assist the Investment Team by analyzing financing documents and understanding capitalization structures
- Contribute to other projects to keep the finance function and firm running smoothly
Requirements
- Experience in asset management is highly preferred
- Sweat the details; precise with numbers, statements, and disclosures
- Comfortable reconciling partner capital, reviewing valuations, and analyzing fund models
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs and propose solutions
- Resourceful and able to navigate ambiguity in fund accounting
- Curious about the investment side; eager to analyze financing documents and understand complex cap tables
- Collaborative; able to work with Controller, CFO, auditors, and fund administrators
- Dependable; able to deliver consistent results for LPs and leadership
- Growth-minded; desire to deepen expertise in venture fund accounting and take on greater responsibility
- Able to work in-office minimum Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Philadelphia office)
