About the role
- Prospect and develop new relationships with public safety professionals and partners.
- Build & maintain a high-performance sale pipeline, manage efficient & professional sales cycles and close contracts.
- Lead discovery with agencies on their needs and present innovative new strategies to transform pre-incident planning, mobile response and community engagement into thriving components of their organization.
- Travel to customer sites and attend trade shows.
- Foster a professional sales culture of mutual benefit to both First Due and the customer.
- Maintain current understanding of public safety industry including software ecosystem, trends, performance indicators, competitive landscape and business practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Public Safety software sales experience (preferably in Fire or Emergency Management)
- Strong organization & communication skills with both customers and internal teams
- 3+ years of solution selling, presenting to large customer groups and negotiation
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work autonomously in a fast-paced start-up team environment with a positive attitude
- Collaborative approach to working with marketing, product and customer success teams
- Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota goals.
- Must be located in North Carolina or Tennessee.
