Build Finom’s user research function from scratch, setting up the operating model, methodologies, tools, and rituals that scale.
Lead, coach, and grow a small team of user researchers, while leading and executing high-impact research projects.
Champion customer-centricity across the product organization, helping product managers and designers lead their own research to turn insights into action.
Partner with senior leadership to ensure research is represented in strategic decisions, from product vision to market expansion.
Design and evangelize recruitment, synthesis, and documentation standards that help us continuously learn and share knowledge across teams.
Be a driving force for cross-functional alignment, making sure we’re focused on the right customer problems at the right time.
Requirements
Who You Are
You’re an experienced user researcher with 7+ years in UX or product research, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team-building role.
You’ve built or significantly scaled a research practice in a startup or scale-up environment.
You’re pragmatic and action-oriented — you know when “just enough” research is the right amount.
You’re comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, and can bring clarity without needing perfect structure.
You’re deeply familiar with both qualitative and quantitative methods, and you know how to adapt to the situation.
You’re a great communicator — you can influence product and company direction through storytelling and insight.
You’re passionate about building tools, rituals, and culture that elevate the voices of our users inside the company.
Nice to Have
Experience working on B2B fintech or SaaS platforms, especially for entrepreneurs or small businesses.
Experience working with or interpreting product analytics data (PowerBI, Amplitude, Metabase).Familiarity with design thinking, Jobs To Be Done, or continuous discovery frameworks.
Experience with international user research across European markets.
