• Lead improvements to external markets data provision by ensuring the information is complete, relevant and accessible

Supervisor

• Work across a diverse range of innovative business and operating models in the rapidly evolving crypto assets and payments sector, building expertise at the forefront of financial regulation
• Lead some of the FCA’s most high-profile and complex cases, assessing compliance, identifying risks and taking swift action to reduce harm across both registered and unregistered firms
• Partner across the FCA and with UK and international stakeholders to deliver coordinated regulatory strategies that support markets and protect consumers
• Tackle complex cross-border challenges linked to digital assets, helping prevent financial crime, scams and other harms that can impact millions of consumers across the UK
• Influence senior industry leaders, drive improvements in standards and, where necessary, take decisive regulatory action to safeguard consumers and support market integrity

Senior Cryptoasset and Payment Supervisor

• Play a key role in overseeing firms operating in the crypto and payments sectors, gaining exposure to innovative business models while helping to protect consumers and support market integrity
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements, identify emerging risks and take timely action to reduce harm across both registered and unregistered markets
• Build strong partnerships across the FCA, collaborating with colleagues in Authorisations, Policy, Enforcement and SPEP to deliver coordinated, effective regulatory outcomes
• Work with UK and international partners, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, to address complex cross-border risks and enhance consumer protection in a rapidly evolving sector
• Partner with senior industry leaders to help create positive change, improve standards and, where necessary, support decisive regulatory interventions that help safeguard millions of consumers and build trust in financial markets

Cryptoasset and Payments Supervisor

• Provide profession leadership for the user research community, shaping direction and promoting consistent, high-quality practice across the organisation
• Maintain and continuously evolve standards for user research, ensuring approaches remain relevant, effective and aligned with organisational priorities
• Contribute to the delivery of the user-centred design leadership roadmap in collaboration with Centre of Excellence Leads, aligning activity to strategic outcomes
• Assess and prioritise emerging demand alongside Centre of Excellence Leads, ensuring resource is focused on areas of highest value and impact
• Advance user research practice, building on existing foundations to develop capability and maturity across the community
• Deliver impactful work that supports outcomes focused on helping consumers avoid financial harm and promoting fair, effective markets
