💰 £76,500 - £110,000 per year
About the role
- Guide and develop the Internal Communications function, with line management responsibility for three direct reports
- Shape team identity and introduce best practice and new ways of working
- Drive team development and upskilling to deliver high-impact internal communications
- Champion innovative, insight-led, multi-channel communications and a campaign mindset
- Provide strategic counsel and trusted guidance to senior leaders including the Chief Executive, Chair and Director of Communications
- Support high-profile and sensitive communications projects, including crisis response, major announcements and organisational transformation
- Act as part of the Comms Senior Management Team, deputising for the Head of Department and representing the team at ExCo, project boards and senior committees
Requirements
- Developing and executing strategic internal communication plans and multi-channel campaigns
- Translating complex business objectives into clear messaging across digital platforms
- Supporting and developing high-performing teams and managing multiple projects concurrently
- Experience working in regulated environments and driving talent acquisition aligned with technical capability requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing senior leadership under tight deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in intranet and digital channel optimisation and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to interpret complex technical issues and translate them for internal audiences
- Strong understanding of the political, regulatory and external landscape
- Proven attention to detail and commitment to high professional standards
- Familiarity with financial regulation or financial services environments
