About the role
- Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities and define a long term vision for the Developer tools team
- Work closely with, and support the growth of a diverse team of engineers and designers who are passionate about building tools that make developers feel at home in Figma
- Partner with product & engineering teams across Figma to define strategic bets across the entire product surface with a focus on developer efficiency and code generation
- Ensure the path from design to production remains seamless, including Dev Mode and MCP server, and drive investments in Developer Tools
- Enable frontend engineers to move faster, spend less time on mundane tasks, and deliver high-quality products to end users
- Drive alignment with executive stakeholders and set priorities across teams
- Grow and develop the Developer Tools product and team within Figma's product organization
Requirements
- Experience working on developer products, or products catering towards highly technical audiences
- Shipped a number of successful, high-impact consumer facing products
- Experience directly managing and growing PMs
- Ability to communicate clearly at different altitudes, including driving alignment with executive stakeholders
- A development background (added plus)
- An eye for the detail, both in terms of user experience and the technical nuances (added plus)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, scrappy environment (added plus)
- A strong understanding of designers and the design process (added plus)
- Can be based in Figma's New York hub or work remotely in the Eastern time zone
