About the role
- Act as strategic liaison between business sponsors and technology teams to drive high-impact, efficiency-focused initiatives
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of business requirements for new and enhanced business applications and products
- Collaborate with Technical Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Define and document business requirements with sponsors, TPOs, and system engineering teams
- Lead and support development of business applications and products from ideation through implementation
- Extract and analyze business requirements and ensure alignment with technical teams
- Provide input into technical design to ensure business needs are met
- Create and manage epics for analytical and operational needs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, and stakeholder meetings
- Apply project management tools and methodologies
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders regularly
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines
- Leverage business, technical, and financial acumen to support project and portfolio success
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 5 plus years of experience in program management or as a product owner required
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills required
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with Agile methodology preferred
- Proficiency in Jira preferred
- Strong emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills preferred
- Familiarity with digital tools and communication platforms preferred
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments preferred
- Home internet: cable broadband or fiber with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working at home occasionally or permanently
