About the role
- Deliver best in class event experiences for the firm’s associates, clients, and prospects
- Create and manage budgets, timelines, and work plans
- Lead planning meetings and collaborate with business partners
- Command of complex event logistics, including sourcing and managing speakers and vendors
- Create dynamic production schedules
- Produce both in-person and virtual experiences
- Consult with senior management and colleagues regarding event strategy, objectives and program goals
- Design engaging relevant event experiences that resonate with attending audiences and achieve key business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 5 years of related work experience
- Experience planning social and corporate events as well as an understanding of industry events
- Experience with event registration systems and event mobile app platforms, especially Cvent
- Knowledge and experience with virtual event production
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and Zoom Meeting/Webinar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a command of proof reading
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to travel within the U.S. and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
