About the role

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, influencing decision-making related to organizational design, workforce planning, talent, performance, and culture
  • Translate business strategies into integrated HR plans that support short- and long-term outcomes
  • Leverage workforce analytics, metrics, and external trends to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and inform evidence-based decisions
  • Translate complex data and insights into clear, compelling narratives that enable leaders to act with confidence
  • Communicate with influence and credibility, adapting messages to diverse audiences and coaching leaders to achieve results
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, role clarity, and transformation efforts, ensuring thoughtful change management and leader readiness
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including sensitive and complex situations, balancing risk mitigation, fairness, and business needs
  • Facilitate and mediate challenging conversations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Foster inclusive dialogue, respectfully challenge perspectives, and support leaders in making informed, values-based decisions
  • Partner closely with HR Centres of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, ER, DEI, etc.) to connect the right expertise at the right time
  • Build and sustain strong cross-divisional relationships, working collaboratively across HR, Legal, Finance, and other key partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive HR experience with significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational and strategic priorities
  • Exceptional communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using data and analytics to inform decisions and influence outcomes
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
