Backend Engineer

• Design and implement backend features and services that ship to real users
• Solve technical problems and document their solutions for the team
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other teams to design and develop features
• Write clean, testable, performant code and review code written by your teammates
• Debug and resolve backend issues—performance bottlenecks, data consistency problems, production incidents
• Deploy your changes to production and monitor them for correctness and performance
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of Feathr's data and operations
• Iterate on feedback and continuously improve technical solutions

Backend Software Engineer

Support Engineer

• Solve technical problems and document and diagram their solutions
• Collaborate with members of other departments to ensure technical solutions meet the business interests of the company
• Provide real-time troubleshooting support of escalations from customers
• Become an expert on Feathr’s product and features, including how they interact with the different parts of our backend systems
• Compose thoughtful, personalized responses to customers for a variety of requests
• Develop a set of troubleshooting playbooks as a resource to help resolve issues more effectively
• Work on high-visibility, often challenging debugging scenarios

Product Support Engineer

• Make Feathr easier to understand and sell
• Build and maintain Feathr’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market foundations
• Work at the intersection of Product, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
• Enable teams through clear frameworks, templates, and source-of-truth assets
• Partner with Product and Leadership to turn strategy into crisp external language

Senior Product Marketing Manager

• Work under the direction of the Associate Director of Product Engineering on backend software development projects.
• Own your code from planning to maintenance to retirement.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements and design technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to implement solutions.
• Deploy and monitor changes in production and address issues as identified.
• Plan and iterate over the product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with members of other departments to ensure technical solutions meet the company's business interests.
• Ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of Feathr’s data and operations.

Principal Backend Software Engineer

Product Manager

• Own our product backlog, defining and prioritizing features that empower nonprofits to effectively market to their audiences.
• Use data, research, and discretion to make product decisions that deliver customer and company value.
• Work with design and engineering teams to turn customer needs into actionable features.
• Collaborate closely with the Customer Education team to ensure documentation of features and provide training for internal and external customers.

Product Designer

• You'll be embedded in 1-2 product pods (Ads, Fundraising, Email, Integrations, or Usability)
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design experiences that serve nonprofit professionals
• Own end-to-end design for your pod's initiatives
• Work from early discovery through implementation while collaborating with our Senior Product Designer
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Create design specifications and documentation that bridge design intent with technical implementation
• Explore AI-assisted design workflows and experiment with design-to-code tooling
