Software Engineer

• Prepares clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
• Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, 2D and 3D.
• Use internal, national, and industry drafting standards.
• Creates drawings according to current standards and manufacturing processes.
• Verify accuracy of drawings, checking dimensions, materials, relationship between parts, and tolerances.
• Utilizes knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences to create designs and drawings.
• Communicate with other departments to validate design and/or drawings.
• Perform sustaining engineering tasks, including but not limited to engineering change, and 3D modeling of previously product drawn in 2D.
