About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performs a variety of material handling functions to load, unload trailers and move materials within the plant
Kit’s product according to work ticket requirements
Receives incoming inventory into business system and follows company processes to place items into inventory
Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications, and seals loaded truck doors as needed
Inspects equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel
Directs movement of kitted product to work areas
Posts weight and shipping charges and prepares bills of lading, as needed
Maintains and restocks the warehouse or parts cage while adjusting for errors
Performs cycle counts as required
Utilizes scanning devices and technology to process inventory movements within the business system

Requirements

What you’ll need

Capable of working with inventory control through utilization of ERP/MRP software
Familiar with and capable of using various types of lifting equipment
Obtains and maintains active forklift certification
Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific material requirements
