About the role
- Accountable for achieving/exceeding profit and growth targets in assigned geography
- Develops strategic vision and supporting roadmap that will profitably expand market share
- Conducts competitor analysis with a focus on rate trends
- Uses insights to recommend state-specific rate strategies
- Supports post-implementation monitoring to track performance of state-specific rate and product adjustments
- Performs data analysis to identify trends and provide insights for ongoing improvements
- Coordinates annual rate planning with underwriting, distribution, and other internal partners
- Communicates with Department of Insurance for moderately complex state rate filings
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Graduate degree preferred
- Minimum five years of experience in insurance product management, pricing, or related
- Experience in state-level business insurance product management preferred
- Experience in a people leader or management role preferred
- Strong insurance product knowledge including commercial lines, property & casualty (P&C) lines, specialty lines, and other relevant types
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with product management tools, data analysis software, and reporting systems
- Experience with PowerBI, SaaS, SQL preferred
