About the role
- Provide in-home intervention to children and their families utilizing skill-based, evidence-based practices
- Act as a resource, provider & advocate families to promote child welfare
- Provide evidence-based interventions and case management support under contractual responsibilities
- Utilize collaborative documentation
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community partners
- Maintain an appropriate level of direct contact with families per program requirements
- Ensure professionalism through role modeling and respect
- Report and document emergencies and critical incidents involving family members or staff
- Participate actively in individual, group, and organizational supervisions/trainings
Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree
- two years of full-time experience in human services
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of community resources and service providers in the service area
- scheduling flexibility with the ability to work evenings and weekends
- maintain on-call availability as needed to respond to crises
