💰 $17 - $19 per hour
About the role
- Provide in-home intervention to children and their families utilizing skill-based, evidence-based practices to help families implement solutions to problems and strengthen families
- Act as a resource, provider & advocate for families to promote child welfare
- Utilize collaborative documentation
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community partners
- Maintain an appropriate level of direct contact with families per program requirements and remain available to families 24/7 for crisis intervention as needed
- Ensure professionalism through role modeling, and respect
- Utilize own vehicle to travel to work destinations and transport youth as authorized, provide services in the community, or the primary home of the child and family
- Report and document emergencies and critical incidents involving clients or staff
- Participate actively in individual, group, and organizational supervision/training
Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree
- Two years of full-time experience in human services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of community resources and service providers in the geographical area
- Maintain on-call availability as needed to respond to crisis
