About the role
- Leading liquidity risk management, interest rate risk management, funds transfer pricing and CMHC securitization activities
- Ensuring compliance with legislative/regulatory requirements applicable to Treasury
- Monitoring and managing the Bank’s liquidity position and suggesting enhancements
- Leading the measurement of Bank-wide interest rate risk
- Evaluating CMHC-sponsored securitization volume and creating NHA MBS pools
- Managing Funds Transfer Pricing process and assessing deposit volumes
- Collaborating with finance teams and other departments
Requirements
- Business degree or MBA in related field, CFA
- Minimum 10 years related experience in Treasury, Capital Markets or Risk group of regulated financial institution
- Experience in money market, fixed income and equity cash or derivative product
- Knowledge of the NHA MBS market and CMB program
- Asset portfolio management experience
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge of Bloomberg Professional software
- Programming and database management experience would be an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability
- Exceptional written / verbal communication and presentation skills
