About the role

  • Responsible for growing Major Kitchen Accounts Nationally
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities towards cabinetry manufacturers
  • Engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually
  • Serve as a business advisor towards customers

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, optimally outside sales within the building materials, construction industries, and OEM cabinet makers.
  • Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth
  • Knowledge or experience within these areas is preferred: building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
  • Highly motivated, able to self-direct and manage your own time and responsibilities, organize and plan
  • Able to learn and proficiently use our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks
  • As this position requires regular automobile travel, you must have your own independent, reliable transportation. This position requires you to work "in the field," making in-person visits to customers nationally. Travel expected at least 50% of the time.
  • Candidate preferred locations are Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, or Michigan. May require occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 50 lbs.
