About the role
- Client Account Management: Work with FAI’s international team to deliver impactful programmes
- Manage the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of key client accounts and sustainability programmes
- Coordinate budgets, work plans, timelines, and client communications
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client teams
- Provide consultancy support, including preparing technical reports and presentations
- Contribute expertise on retail supply chains and livestock production systems
- Support the development and refinement of FAI’s data systems and digital tools
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client programmes or develop new solutions
- Contribute to proposal development, strategic pitches, and scoping conversations alongside the Sales and Consultancy teams
Requirements
- Proven experience working within retail, food supply chains, or terrestrial livestock/agriculture sectors
- Strong project management skills: planning, delivery, budgeting, and evaluation
- Experience in client-facing roles with a track record of building and nurturing strong relationships
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong digital competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management tools, data handling)
- Degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Agriculture, Sustainability, Food Systems, Animal Science, or related fields (desirable)
- Knowledge of sustainability issues within food and farming systems—including welfare, environmental performance, and regenerative agriculture (desirable)
- Experience identifying new business opportunities or contributing to consultancy proposals (desirable)
