About the role
- Build and manage implementation scope and effort estimates
- Collaborate with Global Professional Services on building project plans
- Providing product (functional and technical) guidance on the solutioning of processes based on customer needs
- Create user workflow specifications and establish priority and direction to technical integration staff on client requirements
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the Analytics suite
- Implement new and enhance existing deployments to create a better user experience and further enable sales opportunities
- Effectively communicate with sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
- Identify growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunity during the implementation process
- Share emerging trends, what is working well, and areas for improvement with the Analytics Team
- Study client workflows and partner with Product Development and Engineering to enhance FactSet’s products
- Facilitate transition from implementation phase to support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions within enterprise environments
- At least 6 years of experience working with FactSet’s Analytics tools - specifically the reporting suite
- Deep understanding of how clients use FactSet Analytics and Reporting Solutions products including Vermilion, Portfolio Publisher, Portfolio Reporting Batcher and Analytics APIs
- Excellent technical background and exposure to financial services
- CFA, CIPM, CAPM, FRM, MBA, or other industry certifications preferred
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
- Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
- Willingness to travel
