About the role

  • Own all invoicing: recurring, new subscriptions, adjustments, and one‑time charges.
  • Manage collections workflows, with the support of CS, and reduce delinquent accounts.
  • Maintain accurate billing data and schedules (subscription terms, contract renewals, pricing).
  • Maintain and improve revenue recognition schedules and deferred revenue waterfalls.
  • Handle contract changes, discounts, plan upgrades/downgrades, and multi‑element arrangements.
  • Ensure accurate revenue alignment between CRM → billing → GL.
  • Prepare revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and close tasks.
  • Build and maintain SaaS KPI reporting (ARR, NRR, GRR, cohort analysis).
  • Provide insights for internal reporting packages.
  • Maintain financial models and assist in updating forecasts.
  • Track budget vs. actuals with operationally meaningful explanations.
  • Own the accuracy of financial data across HubSpot, QuickBooks Online, and billing tools.
  • Improve and document processes for Quote‑to‑Cash workflows.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to ensure data alignment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • Direct experience with SaaS accounting or subscription revenue models
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and deferred revenue
  • Excellent Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, HubSpot CRM, or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a “fix the system, not the symptom” mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment
  • CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset, not required.
