About the role
- Contribute to the enterprise architecture roadmap for infrastructure and security systems spanning Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-premises data centers.
- Design network architecture patterns including segmentation, Zero Trust frameworks, software-defined networking, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with Security, Platform Engineering, and Application teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.
- Support the development of architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for infrastructure-as-code, automation, and security controls.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including cloud-native security, infrastructure automation, and observability platforms to enhance operational efficiency and security posture.
- Participate in vendor assessments, build vs. buy decisions, and technology rationalization initiatives for infrastructure and security tooling.
- Work with senior architects to guide cross-functional delivery teams on complex implementations and migrations.
- Support infrastructure modernization initiatives including cloud migration strategies, datacenter consolidation, and legacy system decommissioning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience with deep focus on infrastructure and security domains.
- Deep expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Strong networking background including routing/switching, load balancing, firewalls, VPN/SD-WAN, and network segmentation strategies.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and automation frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across business and IT organizations.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
