Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers

Establish standards for secure boot, code-signing, and vulnerability remediation
Make pragmatic architecture choices for bootloaders and embedded Linux components
Define automated build, test, and validation for firmware
Partner with MFG and Global Services to define updates strategies
Collaborate with various teams to align requirements
Define telemetry, detection, and recovery strategies for firmware integrity
Plan capacity, skill mix, and external partnerships
Communicate status, risks, and decisions to leadership

Requirements

6+ years in embedded/firmware engineering
2-3+ years managing or leading a technical team
Proven experience with UEFI BIOS
Deep knowledge of OpenBMC, IPMI, or Redfish
Hands-on experience with C/C++ and low-level debugging
Strong background in implementing security protocols and secure boot mechanisms
Strong understanding of buses/protocols and memory/storage
Proficiency with tools such as Git, GDB and JTAG
Experience shipping products at scale and owning release management
Developed strategies for testing and resolving firmware issues across development and production
Experience with Arm/x86 platforms, embedded Linux, secure elements, and measured boot pipelines
Prior work with factory programming, golden image workflows, and recovery strategies
Familiarity with compliance and security standards
